Job Summary:

Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading Biopharmaceutical organisation to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Drug Safety Associate Manager to join their highly skilled and dedicated team in their modern state of the art facilities in Cambridgeshire. This new and exciting opportunity will enable this global, dynamic and diverse organisation to continue to make a difference to the lives of patients suffering from life threatening diseases across the globe.

The Role:

As an Associate Manager of the Drug Safety division, the successful candidate will independently establish work priorities and direction with minimal input from your Manager. They will Act as a trainer and mentor for more junior global drug safety staff and provide training on the principles and practices of drug safety to personnel or to external groups.

They may also receive and review adverse event forms for completeness, recognise discrepancies, enter data into the serious adverse event database, solicit, follow-up information and assess the causal relationship of the event to the drug.

The Person:

Candidates must have proven experience within Drug Safety and the ability to mentor and coach. They will have presentation and project management experience together with good communication skills, both verbally and written and excellent attention to detail. 

The successful candidate must be up to speed with current EU legislation and be proficient in excel, PowerPoint, word and be experienced with using databases including a good understanding of a drug safety database.  Data entry work is required and the ideal candidate must be a team player.
