Flame Pharma Clinical Research - Medical Writer Job - London/West Sussex:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Medical Writer for one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical service organisations with a real drive on medical writing.

Due to expansion, our client are looking to recruit a Medical Writer to research specialised areas of medical writing in order to write and/or edit publication manuscripts, slide kits, monographs, newsletters, and congress/exhibit materials that utilise this assimilated knowledge.

Throughout the development of assigned programs, the medical writer is responsible for assuring the medical writing quality of content and format, as well as liaising effectively with both faculty and client.

The skills and experience required for this post are:

• Bachelor of Science in the life sciences; higher degree is preferred
• Proven skills in professional medical writing
• Ability to interpret and organise scientific data
• Ability to understand and implement marketing messages
• Proven copy editing and proofreading skills
• Computer literacy, familiarity with Reference Manager helpful
• Effective communication/interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to attend client meetings, international congresses, etc

With this position comes an attractive benefits package that you associate with a world leader, plus a salary in the region of £25,000-£30,000.

The position will be based in London or West Sussex.
