The Role:

The primary role of the Associate Project Director is to lead, manage and oversee midsize to large, complex clinical trials or clinical trial programs. Working mainly independently, the Associate Project Director may mentor Project Leaders for specific projects.

Associate Project Directors participate in proposal development teams, using knowledge and experience to develop innovative plans and program architecture. Associate Project Directors are also responsible for demonstrating their program leadership capability and authority at marketing/new business meetings.

The Associate Project Director will support Leadership by developing ways to align people’s contribution to business goals and strategic thinking and developing a mentoring and learning behaviour for Project Leaders.

The Person:

In order to be considered, candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in a science related field, (an advanced degree would be desirable) together with proven substantial relevant experience in healthcare, clinical research, project management or a Contract Research Organization. In addition, proven substantial leadership experience is essential.

Candidates should also have Peri-approval study phase experience with large scale post-marketing, EAP and/or remote monitoring trials.
