Job Summary

Are you an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager looking for a senior position within a Regulatory Affairs Consultancy? This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge by joining one of the largest Regulatory Affairs consultancies in Europe.  Due to expansion, we are currently recruiting a Regulatory Affairs Manager who will be responsible for managing various regulatory affairs projects.

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Background

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible for leadership of major assignments and client relationships. As the role is with a leading regulatory affairs consultancy, you will be working on multiple regulatory affairs projects.  This will accelerate your career within regulatory affairs and expose you to working with the worlds leading pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high profile regulatory affairs projects within tight timescales
• Providing regulatory affairs consultation for in-house and remote regulatory affairs projects
• Establishing and developing key contacts with regulatory affairs authorities and clients, nationally and globally
• Assisting in client development activities, as required - travel to client sites nationally and internationally may be involved
• Leading and management of a team of permanent regulatory affairs consultants, providing guidance and expertise as required
• Supervision and development of regulatory affairs consultants - junior regulatory affairs to senior regulatory affairs executive level
• Obtaining maintenance of marketing authorisations, submitting marketing applications, licensing support and collecting submission data and regulatory affairs intelligence

Skill Set

• Life sciences degree preferably in Chemistry or Pharmacy
• Post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject and/or post-graduate courses in Regulatory Affairs would be an advantage
• Proven broad based progressive regulatory affairs experience within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong regulatory affairs project management experience with the persistence and drive to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams
• Mentoring experience
• Possession of first rate written and verbal communication skills
• A dynamic and active disposition with good teamwork skills
• Strong influencing ability and business acumen
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of IT systems

Benefits

This position comes with an attractive salary (£44,000-£66,000) plus benefits.
