Flame Pharma are currently working alongside a leading Clinical Trial Support organisation to recruit a Clinical Trials Research Nurse (Intensive Care) to cover a number of locations throughout the UK and Europe on a temporary contract. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and career orientated Nurse to join a pioneering organization.

The Role:

As the Clinical Trials Research Nurse, you will provide on-site operation and management of company systems during subject enrollment at various clinical trial sites across the UK. You will provide product education and training support to site staff to ensure compliance with regulatory education requirements and provide onsite and offsite support for equipment and test articles used at clinical trial site. Responsibilities will include assisting in the setting up of clinical trials within the unit, liaising with all relevant departments, initiating and providing staff training as appropriate. You will ensure trial activities are conducted in accordance with ICH GCP guidelines. You will develop and maintain clinical competencies as appropriate and participate in quality assurance initiatives, including team clinical supervision. You will participate as requested in investigations to document and resolve product comments or complaints and confer with other departments (R&D, Manufacturing, etc.) regarding product development and product improvement issues, to facilitate practical and smooth transition to commercialization.

The Person:

As a Clinical Trials Research Nurse you will have direct experience in medical high tech areas caring for highly dependent patients, for example: ITU, Anaesthetics, Coronary Care, and Renal Dialysis. Clinical Trial experience is essential, ideally with a recent GCP update. You will be RGN part 1 NMC registered. Excellent computer skills are required; MS Office proficiency at a minimum. The ability to speak French, Italian, Spanish, or German would be advantageous. Flexibility is essential for this role as regular travel is required. (Up to 10 days at a time, approximately 2-3 times a month). You will have the personal skills to work independently and with investigator site teams, communicating requirements and building confidence. You will have a proactive nature and be motivated, responding positively to new challenges.
