Clinical Research – Part Time Oncology Research Nurse – North London

North London, UK Salary Negotiable

Flame Pharma are currently working alongside a unique Primary Care Trust to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Oncology Research Nurse to join their established and dedicated team two days a week on a temporary basis. This exceptional role would be based in the North London area.

The role will require the very best within the Clinical Research sector and as a result, the salary and benefits package are reflective of this.

The Role

The role of the Oncology Research Nurse is to support and assist in coordinating cancer clinical trials. You will assist in achieving the targets for patient recruitment into clinical trials. You will be promoting quality research with the provision of timely and accurate data. The ideal candidate will act as key worker for patients and carers throughout their clinical trials experience. In addition you will line manage junior staff.

The Person

You must be a fully NMC Registered General Nurse with extensive proven post registration experience, including working in an acute setting with cancer / haematology patients. Up to date knowledge of the National Cancer Plan, Cancer services, care and treatments are required as is a sound knowledge of clinical trials.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to a wide multidisciplinary team and patients. You must be able to work independently and be an excellent team player.
