France, Strasbourg:  Excellent package including salary of approx €60-65k

Flame Pharma is proud to be working alongside an innovative, world leading drug development and regulatory services organisation in recruiting a Clinical Project Manager for their offices in France.  This pivotal role will be responsible for the management of clinical projects, leading international clinical project teams in the drug development consultancy division of their business
The Role

• To lead international and multifunctional project teams to meet the requirements of clients. These projects may involve the set up and management of the project and encompass all areas related to clinical research (site management, data management, statistics, quality assurance, supplies, labs, writing of study related documents, and associated regulatory activities) together with their associated links into pre-clinical areas
• To be responsible for the identification, selection and qualification of clinical suppliers for projects including vendors of clinical services, central laboratory services, medical writing, data management services and ancillary services, Undertake the day-to-day management of contracted vendors ensuring quality performance and delivery to budget and timelines
• To provide input into and assist with the delivery of project specific Project Quality Plans (PQP).
• To organise the appropriate training of the clinical team that is responsible for the project (internal and external suppliers)
• To be responsible for the creation, tracking and management of project budgets, timelines, tasks, responsibilities and activities to meet client expectations

The Person

• Proven, recent project management experience on global or international clinical projects, which should include significant time spent leading international multi-functional teams preferably within the oncology area. Other aspects of experience preferred include:
• Excellent planning skills for setting up project inside and outside of the EU Directive region
• Experience with outsourcing of drug development services and a good understanding of project finances
