Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading provider of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Development Services to appoint a Data Verification Scientist to join their highly skilled and dedicated Technical Administration team in their modern state of the art facilities in Wiltshire. This new and exciting opportunity will enable this established, global organisation to meet their international strategic requirements.

The Role
 
As a Data Verification Scientist within the Technical Administration division, you will be an integral part of a team which supports the Analytical Development, Formulation Development and Process Development groups, as an independent reviewer of analytical data. The data produced must conform to Company and Client official regulatory and legal requirements. The role of the Data Verification Scientist is to provide an objective review of analytical data to ensure that compliance is met.
 
You will be responsible for the review of analytical data to ensure that it has been generated and recorded in compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practise) and local SOPs. (Standard Operating Procedures).You will verify that the experimentation has been performed in accordance with the appropriate procedure and or testing protocol to include checking calculations and data transcriptions for accuracy. 
 
It will be your responsibility to perform reviews of analytical data and documentation in the laboratory in preparation for audits, ensuring the successful completion of tasks within the agreed timeframes. In addition, you will satisfactorily complete all cGMP and safety training in conformance with Departmental and Site requirements.
 
The Person
 
You will be educated to a minimum of HND/HNC or degree standard in a scientific subject, with proven cGMP laboratory experience and a good working knowledge of a wide range of analytical techniques. Proven experience in the review of analytical documentation is also desirable, as is an understanding of regulatory guidelines. You must possess an accurate, organised and diligent approach to work. Exceptional attention to detail is essential as is the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
