Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading provider of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Development Services to appoint a Formulation Scientist to join their highly skilled and dedicated team in their modern, dynamic state of the art facilities in Wiltshire. The Role:

As a Formulation Development Scientist, working within the Formulation Development division, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Formulation and Clinical Trial manufacturing of solid, non-sterile semi-solid and both sterile and non-sterile liquid products. There will also be a requirement to support process development activities for late clinical trials and marketed products.

The Person:

Candidates must have a Minimum of a Science degree (e.g. pharmacy or chemistry) or HNC/Diploma, together with proven experience in formulation development in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical Industry. In addition some knowledge of process development is necessary. They must also have a sound working knowledge of cGMP and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).

The successful Formulation Development Scientist must be well motivated with the capacity to work under pressure. Thoroughness and attention to detail are essential skills as is a flexible attitude towards work. They must possess the ability to follow procedures and be innovative to enable challenges to be overcome.
