Flame Pharma are currently working alongside an international Drug Development organisation to recruit a Quality Assurance Executive to join their Pharmaceutical Development Services team in Wiltshire.This role will offer the ideal candidate the exceptional opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic working environment for an innovative and entrepreneurial global organisation that prides itself on its expertise, experience and reliable, high quality service.

The Role

As a Quality Executive, You will be the lead member of a team within the Quality Assurance Group that reviews documents and data generated by Analytical Development. You will manage and lead a team of Quality Executives, setting and maintaining appropriate goals and standards of performance for the team.

It will be your responsibility to review analytical data to ensure that it has been generated and recorded in compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice), checking calculations and data transcriptions for accuracy. In addition, you will liaise with analytical scientists to ensure appropriate corrective actions are performed and review technical reports records and documents for quality whilst assisting in the preparation of data collation for regulatory bodies.

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess a Life Sciences degree together with proven experience in a scientific or Quality related environment within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Please note, suitable candidates must have previous Line Management experience. Extensive GMP laboratory experience is essential and the ideal candidate must have a sound working knowledge of a variety of Analytical Techniques including HPLC.

In addition, a good understanding of Regulatory guidelines is required. A thorough and proactive approach to taking on challenging assignments is essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
