Flame Pharma - Clinical Research - Director Business Development Manager Job - Phase I 

Home Based UK: Salary circa £50k

Flame Pharma is working alongside a Global Contract Research CRO, organisation, who specialise in a full spectrum of world-class discovery, preclinical and clinical resources and expertise, strategically located around the world, in their search for an experience Director of Business Development Phase I. This role is home based with a UK & European travel requirement.

The Role:

Reporting to the Vice president, business development the successful applicant will have continual adherence to global pre-commitment process, post commitment including extensive hand over of information & working knowledge and application of account profile development. They will achieve your target set for Face to face meetings (10 per month, measured on a 90 rolling average), clear and focused approach in preparation, planning and execution of client meetings whilst you continue to grow assigned accounts within allocated territory above target. In this role the Director Business Development Manager will have continual updating of company profiles, face to face meetings, site visits with operational staff, proposal activity (measured monthly), complete and accurate 90 day forecast for all Lines of Business & status improvement for assigned accounts (peripheral to preferred).

The Person:

To be considered for this role candidates must be an industry experienced Business Development manager within Phase I. They will have clear knowledge of all market segments (Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Generic), knowledge within market place, including competition, technology and regulations, clear understanding and applied use of current trends within the market and ways to maximise business through these trends & develop, maintain and apply a territory plan for planning purposes to include client visit frequency, tradeshows with active participation. Candidates should prioritise accounts in line with sales targets & provide feedback to marketing on successful activities and proactively suggest new methods and ideas to help gain future business.
