Flame Pharma is recruiting a Research Physician for a leading clinical research company in Lancashire.  We require an experienced medical doctor with full GMC registration to act as Principal Investigator for all sponsor clinical research studies and ensure that patients are recruited for these studies according to GCP guidelines

The Research Physician job involves

Due to expansion, our client is recruiting a Research Physician to become Principal Investigator for all clinical studies conducted by the company and provide medical expertise in helping develop recruitment strategies, whilst developing a positive image of the company to sponsors and representatives.  The Research Physician will develop and maintain excellent relationships with local GPs, plus provide clinical information for the medical affairs team.  The Research Physician will follow SOPs and study protocol to ensure each stage of the clinical trial is optimised

The Research Physician job requires

• Must be fully GMC registered without restriction to work in a commercial setting (limited registration candidates WILL NOT be considered)
• Proven post qualification experience
• Must have UK experience in either Clinical Research or Hospital setting
• A broad range of general medicine is required
• It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, with a perfect command of English
